In 2010, the Ontario Rodeo Association is taking part in the Ontario Racing Commission’s Ontario Quarter Horse Racing Industry Development Program "Post Racing Bonus".

The ORA joins the OBRA, NBHA and others as part of the "Recognized Events". Those competing in the program are eligible for their earned share of a $20,000 Annual Bonus.

Eligible Horses must:

• Be an ex-racehorse of the Quarter Horse Racing in Ontario
• Compete in an event recognized by the Ontario Quarter Horse Racing Industry Development Program (ORA-sanctioned Rodeos, NBHA Runs, etc.)
• Earn points unique to the Post Racing Bonus (see the Ontario Racing Commission site for details)
• The owner of an eligible horse must apply annually and provide supporting documentation by November 20th. (This is all supported/confirmed by the ORA.) The Form is available on the Ontario Racing Commission site or by clicking here.

If your horse qualifies for this program, please see Joe Scully, ORA President, the interim program coordinator for the ORA, prior to your run so that your horse may be registered into the ORA division and verified for each run.
